• 5 identical symmetrical compartments. These trapezoidal-shaped compartments radiate in a sunburst fashion from the central platform.

The position of the starting box offers the mouse a symmetrical view of the five arms, access to which is afforded by square apertures cut into the perimeter wall of the central platform and which can be closed individually by vertically opaque sliding doors. Each arm is equipped at its distal extremity with a circular food cup.
